Description: Regional population change is the official estimate of the Australian regional population change, which links people to a place of usual residence within Australia. Usual residence is the address at which a person considers themselves to currently live. Regional population includes all people who usually live in Australia (regardless of nationality, citizenship or visa status), except for people present for foreign military, consular or diplomatic reasons. Estimates are prepared at Statistical Areas Level 2 (SA2 2021), according to the Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS) Edition 3.
